Exile

Each episode tells the story an individual who fled fascism in the C20th drawing on diary entries, archive materials and interviews with surviving relatives.

I've made several episodes including 'Lily Renée’s Glamorous Revenge' - the story of an Austrian refugee who became and unlikely star creating graphic novels - and 'The Artist Who Made Beauty Out of Destruction' about an artist who used the debris of blitz-bombed London to create striking mosaics and collages.
